This may occur if you have the cheat launcher on a USB stick and remove it after loading the cheat. By default the cheat tries to save to the directory where the client is.
You can save/load manually using a file path through the console with commands like this:
save C:\saves\
load C:\saves\

Whenever I load into destiny 2 I see this pop up at the top of my screen.
